What would I tell my 17 year old self about student loans.... and would I have listened..... How are yours coming along? Anybody stoked on theirs? Have you consolidated with the Dept of Education? Im looking into how to do that after this company Student Debt Services tried to get me to pay them $600 to be my little assistant and fill out the paperwork for me. They sent me a packet that has a lot of manipulative language in there... My question is, if theyre telling me how I should have lower payments because of my income bracket, how the hell am I supposed to come up with $600 upfront to give them to set it up? I just want to whimper off into a corner now.
