What would I write on facebook about Dr Myles and Wife that has not been written in the last few hours. You can imagine hearing this just before boarding a flight myself. For me, it wasnt even about the fear of flying. It was the PAIN AND HURT I felt. I decided not to rush into speaking the normal christian cliches we utter when things like this happen. I was just sad. And rightly so. I wanted to understand why this would happen. But like somethings in life, not even the best theology could cut it for me. It took a few hours to get my self. Coming to terms with the truth that as believers, true believers that it, that we only change address to a better place. Regardless of how this happens. Even if I wish it didnt happen this way. I met DR Myles a couple of times. And on one of those occasions he introduced me as his favorite trumpet player. His teaching on praise and worship is pivotal to my music ministry. So you can understand my pain and frustration. But lets face it. DR Myles IS NOT DEAD. He lives on in our lives. His teachings, books, songs, concepts etc. The problem now is you and I. WHEN YOU DIE, WILL YOU DIE? OR LIVE ON? I will write that book tomorrow, I will record that song tomorrow, I will preach that sermon tomorrow, I will begin that ministry tomorrow, I will start that project tomorrow, I will give my life to Christ tomorrow. I will answer that call tomorrow. Tomorrow! Tomorrow! Tomorrow! . Those who never die ( at least in Christ), only know TODAY. But those who die when they die talk tomorrow. TODAY IS THE DAY OF SALVATION. God bless your souls Dr and Mrs Myles Munroe.
