What would it be like to admit we don’t understand God? What - TopicsExpress

What would it be like to admit we don’t understand God? What would it be like to acknowledge we love him and want to spend time with him, but we don’t know what to do, when the things he has promised don’t come to pass? What would it be like to admit we don’t want to seek God just for what he can do for us, but at the same time when we cry out to him and our prayers don’t get answered our hearts get broke? What would it be like to acknowledge that while we want to trust God we don’t? How is that for honesty on a fifth of July? The answer to these and other questions can not be summed up with either steps or formulas. The good news is that there are answers. Thank God there are answers and the lives of the following men and women of God demonstrate the fact that there are answers. I am looking at Smith Wigglesworth, Maria Wookworth-Etter, Heidi Baker, King David, TL Osborn, just to name a few. All of these men and women of God experienced pain, disappointment, and had their hearts broken in service to God, but they are all a monument of the faithfulness of God to and for his sons and daughters. Yes, there is an answer but the answer does not come from us or anything that we can do. The answer comes from God to us, and as we go before him in the manner of not understanding but still we come, asking him to help us, his heart is moved with both compassion and love and mercy and his love moves him to begin to reveal to us the things WE NEED TO KNOW, AND EXPERIENCE, AND UNDERSTAND IN ORDER TO FOLLOW AFTER HIM. You see there is no formula, and the more you try to create one the farther away from him you will be. We believe that he is and as we come to him he reveals himself to us, he reveals his love to us, he reveals his faith to us, he reveals the things in our lives that is causing us to be separated from him. He gives us the desire to serve him and as we come to him for the purpose of giving back to him the desire he has given us, he opens his heart of love and pours even more of himself into us and again we bring back to him and present it all back to him. That is how we move from faith to faith and glory to glory. It is him and his love for us that he pours from him to us that moves us to give back to him what he gave to us and to give it back to him with the same purity that he gave it to us. It is his glory, and the power that works in us, that is the wisdom that causes the questions to be answered. It is not a form, it is not a formula, it is revelation through relationship. Know this he is not afraid of your questions, nor is he unwilling to answer them, cast your care upon him and wait on him and let him renew your strength so that you can mount up like the eagle. Blessings.
