What would you do??? First time ever in our real estate career.....we represent our sellers on a very trying and emotional purchase and sale with coordinating a sale and a buy into their new home with timelines, extensions, rate locks, closings, every party bending over to accommodate closing yesterday 15 days late. We send over a addendum asking for 1 day timeframe to allow our clients to move out considering they couldnt close on their new home until we record on their current home. This does not happen until 4 pm and we were told that the new buyers werent in a hurry and that they wanted a hold harmless signed by our buyers. We do so and thank all parties to the sales for all cooperation. Then here is what happens at 8:30 the new buyers literally knock on the door and informs our sellers wife she had 30 min to get out, wake up their baby and figure out how they can get their belongings another day. Husband is not home as he has been moving home over all day and was dropping off a load at their new home. I head over to try to diffuse situation and at 8:50 the buyer walks into home and starts to change out the locks. Needless to say I call the Police, she calls the Police and finally at 11pm they show up!! All I say to this couple when I get there is, really this is how you want to act when all we have done is work with you and help you get into a new home? He starts the rant of who are you and why are you here, I proceed to say these are our clients and I say I am here to protect their rights and you need to wait for the Police to show up. End of story of story is police tell buyers to leave, also very sure these buyers will be filing a formal complaint cuz they feel they are right and want to be heard. Some people just operate differently!!
