What you dont see on the nightly news. Any guesses why? Any pretense of the United States having a free press is obliterated when corporate considerations keep news off the air as effectively as the worst dictatorial and fascist regime. The effect is identical. The people are kept dumb and complacent while politicians and the corporations that own them can go ahead with their agendas. This is not just the case for Keystone and its tar-sands lease owners, the Koch Bros, but also for issues like net neutrality where the good of the people is subordinated to corporate profits by cable companies. Unless we all demand our media hold our politicians responsible, we are in deep poo-poo, folks.
