What you need to do in a new company. First be a good observer, avoid to speak. When you are a manager, start by hearing your colleagues carefully. Even being in a leadership position. Gather the most information you can, giving people an opportunity to express themselves, and develop your strategies based on this. Its much better to let them speak about what is not doing good in the company, than you. If you do so, this may produce fear and demotivate the team. Its always better to start by listening than speaking, Thats why we have two ears.
