What you see is what you get for the next two days! The weather pattern is going to remain rather stagnant as the upper low just continues to sit and spin over the central U.S. Cloud cover is rather extensive and goes all the way back through the Rocky Mountains. Look for mostly cloudy to cloudy skies for both Wednesday and Thursday. There may also be a few showers around too. Northern portions of the viewing area will be favored to get rain while southern section’s stay dry. Temperatures will remain drastically cooler than average with lows in the upper 30s to near 40. Highs should hold in the 50s pretty much area wide. I know many peple are wondering about frost and right now I do not think frost will be much of a problem. The combination of cloud cover and breezy winds should keep frost from forming. We are going to be amply rewarded for this cold stretch by the weekend! Sunshine will return in full force and allow temperatures to skyrocket back to the upper 70s to near 80 Saturday. Low to mid 80s are possible Sunday. Next week starts off really hot but then ends on a wetter note.
