Whatever happen to Idea of a harmonious smelting of peoples and cultures? The promise of a new land, a new world, a new life? AHHHHH. We needed them. To help us build our nation of liberty and justice. We needed them to build our cities, to build our railroads, to build our plantations, to build up our armed forces, to build build build, and to break their backs, and to sweat their blood and tears... but now that we are established? What then? Send them all back where they came from? This land was never ours. We lied, cheated, and stole, from the natives, who never truly owned it themselves but had long since been established here and living very happily and content in their ways. Just who are we Americans, with our sense of entitlement, and greed of money and power. Where does our egotistical and corrupt ways come from? What are we trying to achieve here? If we are a land of freedom, and liberty, and justice, and in god we trust, why is it that it seems we only trust in giant-corporations with billions and trillions of dollars and in our military power, which I might add we drop more money into every year than any of the other world powers combined every single year. Hoorah! Dont tread on me.
