Whatever happened to the oft repeated axiom Parsi, thy name is Charity? I am appalled by the truth of this video presentation about our poor Parsis. Imagine getting a dole of just Rs.300/- to a maximum of Rs.1000/- per month per person or family, while the Trustees of BPP think nothing of blowing up Rs 3 Crores (30 Millions) on a vengeful litigation and also making plans to fritter away several Crores more for the redundant and impossible scheme of Vulture Aviary. Awake oh Bawaji. Of course, this amount has already been spent on fighting the 2 Dasturs in the Supreme Court. It could even escalate beyond that, as they have already admitted to have spent Rs.3 Crores and the case is still at the Admission stage. Imagine what the sum total will amount to once the case actually comes up for hearing. Over and above that they have already spent another 70 Lakhs for the intervening High Priests who have been goaded into it by these vested interests. I envisage a total sum of 9-10 crores to be the final bill. Wouldnt the interest money from this 10 Crores have alleviated the sufferings of the poverty ridden Zoroastrians of India? Take a look at their pitiable living conditions. My heart bleeds for them. Let us all remember them in our prayers tonight. May AhuraMazda enlighten our Trustees to stop all wasteful expenditure and learn to spend and care for our poorer brothers and sisters.
