Whatever happens today, I have been blessed by scores of supporters who have worked tirelessly on my campaign — volunteers who have created campaign materials, staffed the office, delivered brochures, put up signs, canvassed voters, or called from the phone bank; donors who have helped to fund the campaigns expenses; friends who promoted my candidacy to their own friends and neighbours through social media or by word of mouth; residents who showed their support with signs; and countless other contributions. And then theres hundreds (in fact, thousands!) of people I met on the doorstep or at community events who have offered their advice, their concerns, and their encouragement. I have been humbled and buoyed by your support — so much so that I have never felt I was walking alone. You have all made this journey with me and I only wish I could offer more than a simple but heartfelt thank you.
