Whats for dinner?!? Let’s face it: deciding what to make for dinner can be overwhelming, especially if you save the decision-making to the end of the day when everyone is exhausted and starving. That’s when you are most likely to fall into the you-know-its not-healthy-take-out trap. What works for our family is to have a weekly dinner plan in place that gives us more or less a guideline for the week. The recipes might change, but we stick to somewhat of a format. So, for example, Meat Free Monday might be the Barley Risotto with Asparagus & Shitake Mushrooms (on page 386 of the Clean Cuisine book) on the 1st Monday of the month and it might be the Schezhuan Lettuce Wraps with Dipping Sauce (page 388) the 2nd Monday of the month--but we always know Monday is a meat-free dinner.
