Whats gives you the inspiration to travel the KVR- C&W Rail/Trail or even all of Canada by a simple trail? Is it the thrill of the outdoors or maybe its the vision of the Trans Canada Trail that welcomes you to many small towns along the way. Dana Meise has just done that, Dana traveled thru the Columbia and Western trail last fall on his way to Victoria BC, Some of us were lucky to met Dana as he past thru the Southern part of the TCT network. We been following Dana along the trail ever since .He is currently walking the last part of the Northern route of the Trans Canada Trail. Dana Meise has set a world record in hiking. And hes done it all for his father, who struggles with the effects of a brain aneurysm and a stroke. A CBC reporter follows Dana for a few remarkable days as he tells his story of living in the wild along the trail and walking to Prince George to meet his father, Its a great video of inspiration that we had to share...
