The week will comprise of films, documentaries and speakers (some of which are yet TBC) that will raise awareness on issues surrounding the right to life! As always entrance is FREE although donations are welcome :) AND there will be FREE snacks! Tuesday: Life of David Gale (film) with debate after on the death penalty with the Public Speaking & Debating society ________________________________ 7:30pm Food for Thought (Stephen Harbage) Exhibition Space, Student Central ________________________________ 7:30pm Tuesday Is Salsa Nite Biko Room, Student Central Join us every Tuesday for an exciting evening of learning how to dance salsa, meet new people, make friends and fitness exercise. Learn to dance salsa in just 12 weeks this semester with the best teachers in the country and with the most friendliest society on campus. AAS is introducing Women Only dance exercises to promote health and wellbeing (healthy body, mind & spirit) among our female students starting this January 2014. This is a 45min intense non-stop fun dance exercises, friendly environment, strictly no men allowed & female dance teachers only. If it’s successful on the first couple of months we will continue with the program, so do invite all your female friends to support our health and wellbeing program. TUESDAY PROGRAM ~~~~~~~~~~~~ WOMEN ONLY DANCE EXERCISE 7:00pm (NEW - pilot program) SALSA BEGINNERS 7:30PM SALSA INTERMEDIATE 8:30PM SOCIAL 9:30PM ALL Classes are free for members. MEMBERSHIP £12 for Students, £15 Alumni, £21 for Associates for a full academic year. £6/ per semester (Visiting/Erasmus students ONLY) £3 per session for non members. Membership must be paid either to our Treasurer Korina Ghuela or at student union reception (bring your receipt to first class if you pay at union reception).
