Whats new at Kent State? Heres a look at a couple ongoing construction projects: 1. The Aeronautics and Technology Building, opening in spring 2015, will be the new facility for Kent State Universitys College of Applied Engineering, Sustainability and Technology. This construction is happening right next to the Math and Computer Science Building on E. Summit St. 2. Construction began this summer on the newly envisioned Center for the Visual Arts. The plan includes complete renovation of both Van Deusen Hall and the Art Annex/heating plant with an integrating walkway and classrooms connecting the two former buildings. This multi-year project will result in the collection of all School of Art programs having a home in one building.
