Whats on my mind ... Entrepreneurs can do a huge amount of good. We know that economies need good domestic wages to expand ... and that sustainable development is a form of *growth* ... even so, entrepreneurial activity does shape the economy in dynamic ways and can provide good jobs. Entrepreneurs are to the economy as geniuses are to science ... when they turn their minds to projects that are not merely profitable but aligned with best principles of corporate conduct, sustainable development and management. In this way, a synergy is created between entrepreneurial genius and domestic demand that creates a form of development we call sustainable. But entrepreneurs often fail to take good advise on matters pertaining to sustainable development ... in doing so, they fail to be all they can be ... Also, capitalism ... my ideas on capitalism are often not well understood ... it seems to me that many folks perceive me as some kind o rabid Leftist, Greenie, Pacifist ... none of that is accurate ... I do prefer nonviolent solutions to violent ones ... any soldier who has actually seen war will tell you the wisdom of that ... and also so would Jesus, Ghandi and Dr. Martin Luther King, Jnr. .... Greenie? LOL ... dont you know that all true wealth, esp. long-term, comes from the wealth of the planet? You cannot, in the long term have capitalism and an un-healthy planet On capitalism ... any reading of history will tell you that the traditional duty of the state has been to regulate capitalism ... capitalism is ancient ... and so was despotism ... the government of the people and for the people and by the people has the duty to regulate capitalism for the good of the people, inc. small businesses ... the GFC was caused by the incompetent regulation of the financial sector ... the result ... you can see for yourself ... If you want to understand this better, you could have enrolled in one of my courses ... but wait ... I was just made unemployed thanks to workplace bullies ...
