Whats on my mind? Facebook asks whats on my mind...well there are alot of things on my mind. But most importantly at the moment is this.... how does any mom and grandma turn their back on their own child and grandchildren? How and why? What is more important than your own child and your grandchildren? I feel so bad for my daughters... my mother passed earlier this year and their only other grandmother has not spoke to either of them in years. They dont even know or remember her. She lives all of a 2 hour drive away (last time we knew where she lived). They are so young 16 and 11 and they only have my father as their only grandparent. I just dont understand why anyone would not want my daughters in their life...especially when they are blood. I know they miss my mom alot. It sure would have been nice to see another grandma step up and try to fill the void just just a little. To the best of my knowledge it has been 6 years since she has contacted my girls in any way... phone/letter/person. Why? Why? Seriously....WHY? # deadbeat grandma
