Whats on my mind? Well, first off, when did being kind go out of style? Why do so many people feel its OK to be hateful? Isnt the world filled with enough ugliness, as is, that we shouldnt add to it? I have spent years away from the general population because of hatred that humans show to each other everyday, it breaks my heart. This year I rejoined the general population when Chuck and I bought a bar. This last year I have meet some truly caring and loving people. They have shown me that loving your fellow man is still Ok. I have cried tears of joy more times then I can count. And my heart swells with love. I have also seen where people turn a blind eye to someone elses pain. I have seen a trend, that I dont think it healthy, where people view hateful acts and words as acceptable. I have heard and seen abuse and people laugh at it. Why? Why is it possible that as a society, based on personal freedom and having basic human right, degrade to this hateful, malicious place? I find myself longing for the days of loving words and laughter is all that I heard. My hope for this next year is, that everyone can act with love and kindness. That we see a blessing with every breathe. That we find happiness in every moment. And all our tears are for joy.
