Whats on my mind today, FB asks... not really this - but this needs saying... as they say, Just sayin... This wouldnt really get very far from just a Comment to a Post: Bankrupting America.... So... re: this Smart Cuts thing from them that Dave liked.... Maybe people will take time to think about this.... They (Republicans - most) want to cut vital programs - Soc. Sec, Medicare - (Dave, ask your mom, Betty, if she agrees w/ those cuts...), Medicaid (ask us - & Betty re: Larrys on-going health problems - & other families dependent on that for med. care if we agree w/ that...), Food Stamps (ask us when we were out of work and surviving on Unemploy. & Food Banks if we agree w/ that cut), go into the classrooms and see what you can do w/ kids who are tired and cranky from not having enough food to keep them healthy & alert), Education (ask yourself and teachers like Bonney & Nikki if they and you agree w/ an ever-increasing ignorant society - and on the Food Stamp one too). Also, maybe check w/ many towns and see if they are for cutting back more on Police & Fire protection. And then, check w/ the Unemployment boards to see how thats all working out for them. Hows that cutting thing working out for you? - Should be interesting. Yeah, lots of things look good on paper (as they say) - or now FB, but not so much when real people are involved.
