Whats on this weekend.. My weekend will mostly be taken up in the company of Mr Don Powell from Slade who is up in Kelso to support the Bike Fest, hell be making a sweeping visit to Hawick on Friday 4th to celebrate 50 years since Slade first played there and hell be in Cooper Bar from 4pm - 5pm having a wee jam session with local Hawick band Still Whisky, a great oppertunity to meet the legend that is Don Powell...lots of great music on at the Bike Fest in Kelso too, if you fancy a wee visit, come and say hello Other things on.. Friday 4th Still Whisky - playing in Coopers bar, Hawick from 9pm Gadji - in the Vibe, Kelso from 9.30pm SCOCHA - playing in the Civic Week Marquee in Earlstone to celebrate Earlston Civic Week, tickets from the Black Bull Saturday 5th Riff Raff - in the Vive, Kelso for an afternoon gig starting at 2.30pm Burnfoot Carnival, Hawick...a great family day out with loads of great bands playing, including Dark Horse, 3D & PYRE to name but a few, starts at 2pm...Im so gona try and sneak away to this for a wee while ;-) if theres anything else on this weekend that Ive missed, please feel free to share it underneath this post....enjoy your weekend!
