Whats one of the main differences between an ordinary love and a soul mate love? Ordinary love is intoxicating, but soul mate love is detoxicating --- its powerful energy sweeps through and cleanses the heart of all the toxic chemicals and pollutants that inevitably build up while living in modern society. Last night was the 15th anniversary of our moving in together. My beloved and I took a sacred journey, traveled to an entirely different realm of consciousness, and in an environment of genuine curiosity and complete trust we opened up our hearts to to one another and allowed ourselves to explore where those toxins and pollutants had coagulated, and how that coagulation had impacted us. In that space we were able to share without recrimination or defensiveness, so we could truly hear one another and participate in our hearts own healing. Then we celebrated in rapturous awe as we felt all the toxins and impurities drain away and our hearts return to a state of squeaky-clean, pristineness capable of pure love and ecstatic bliss. What an amazing 15 years of living together it has been, and we cant wait to see how the next 15 years of living together (God willing) unfolds...
