Whats really interesting about this from a legal standpoint is that the district judge did NOT issue a stay of his ruling. Thats uncommon in a ruling that overturns legislation. Before anyone gets too excited about this, the 7th Circuit Court of Appeals COULD issue a stay under its own authority while it considers the appeal. Basically, I would strongly recommend that anyone thinking of getting married should probably do so, now, rather than wait, just to be on the safe side.
