Whats the call question? Home team is up 8-7 with time expired, guest team has 2 outs ,runner on 3rd, batter has a full count,check swings at the 3rd strike, umpire calls strike and calls her out and says ballgame. Batter goes to the dugout, runner on 3rd goes across middle of the field to the dugout,3rd base Coach ask batter why would you swing at that and also heads to dugout, suddenly home plate umpire says he didnt call a strike and lets the Coach start yelling for his girls to get back on the field! And tells runner on 3rd to go home and touch plate and umpire allows her to score to tie the game and force international tie breaker! All while home team Coaches are going nuts and girls trying to get back on the field! My call is the game was over, even if he didnt call it a strike, the batter committed to the dugout with helmet off, that was the 3rd out! Home team ended up losing the game and being put out of a National qualifier tournament! Next question what would other Coaches do in that situation, knowing that your team lost fair and square and the umpire blew the game, would other Coaches have allowed their team to play on or would they have enough integrity about them to do the right thing and take your loss??
