Whats the dumbest thing an ordinary person (person who owns a modern car) has ever said to you regarding your classic car? To begin with, heres some that Ive encountered. 1, Have you owned it from new? Answer, not really, I was unable to afford a new car at four years of age! 2, I bet it all rotten underneath Answer, yes, I make a habit of spending lots of money on a car, not looking underneath then having to scrap it whilst driving round in a death trap in the meantime! 3, will it do fifty miles per hour? Answer, its from 1972 not 1922, it will cruise at seventy all day! Ive been asked all these more than once, have you been subjected to dumbness of this scale?
