Whats the kickstarter all about? Well, there will be a lot more detail on the kickstarter page once it launches, but heres a quick overview. Our mission is to inspire a conversation that will affect real, authentic change in peoples lives. The videos that we have posted are the start of the conversation, teasers if you will. This conversation isnt going to be between people and a computer, we want to start the conversation here, and inspire people to take that conversation to their friends, small groups, churches, etc, and discuss these topics. Content without conversation will never result in authentic change. The conversation is the most important part. So, through the kickstarter we hope to raise money to continue interviews across the country. We understand that diversity of voices is vital to our success and the effectiveness of this project. Once we have the content, we want to make a variety of resources available, from youtube videos to actual resources that can be utilized in a small group or 1 on 1 setting, such as a 5 or 6 part study on building authentic community. This would be 5-10 minutes of video in each part, and then discussion questions. No fill in the blanks, just conversation prompts. We will also build all of the necessary website and app infrastructure to get this in the hands of as many people as possible. I know this might be a little long but I hope it sheds some light on what we are trying to do.
