Whats the latest at Rec? Glad you asked...God doing what ONLY He can so we cant take credit for ANY of it. The most miraculous thing weve seen is the outpouring of His Spirit upon our community. The salvations alone are absolutely unbelievable. In the first year we grew from 12 folks in my living room, to God using 2 atheists to give us the down payment for the building were in now, to the last 3 months growing from 100 folks to around 175ish and needing a bigger building! Weve been praying about paying off the mortgage while laying the need before the congregation and then we get a phone call from a local church that said they are considering paying off our church mortgage!!! Simply unbelievable stuff!!! I wish I had time to tell you more of the holy crazy things weve witnessed our Creator/Savior/Sustainer do but I simply dont...but if you want to hear more, well be sharing testimonies tomorrow night at Central Baptist at 6pm. Were super excited to fellowship with the body over at Central tomorrow evening! Also in the am, well be doing the morning service at First United Methodist Church! God opening doors everywhere for the body to unite instead of being divided...seeing one another as THE BRIDE OF CHRIST! Special thanks to our community for the prayers and encouragement weve received and the love thats been shown throughout the city of Carthage. Theres so many pastors I want to humbly say thank you to for being family to us when we needed help, prayers, healing, advice, etc. Its been a beautiful ride co-laboring with you all for the Kingdom. I feel most inadequate to be called to this role, and I am the most inadequate, but thats how God gets even more glory. I often think of myself through the lenses of Acts 4:13 when the people perceived Peter and John as uneducated, common men, but were astonished at their boldness so they MUST have experienced Jesus!
