Whats wrong with contemporary worship in the church today? Primarily, a total misunderstanding about how the Holy Spirit actually works and a profound confusion of the true Scriptural purpose of corporate worship. By allowing such Scriptural and pneumatological distortions to take place through praise and worship, church leaders are promoting ignorance, drunkenness through emotionalism, narcissism, self-centeredness, epistemological relativism, cognitive disengagement, theological error, and utter liturgic and ecclesiological chaos (something Scripture speaks specifically against), amongst other things.
