Whats wrong with this picture? Former IRS division head Lois Lerner took the 5th again when she appeared before the House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform yesterday. The Washington Examiner believes they know why shes so determined not to testify. Lois Lerner stays silent to protect someone outside the IRS. Lerner knows the House of Representatives can cite her for contempt of Congress, but Attorney General Eric Holder would decide whether she is prosecuted. We know that would never be allowed to happen. Lerner need not worry since President Obama has already told the world there wasnt “a smidgen of corruption” in the IRS actions, and Holder allowed a major Obama campaign contributor to have a role in Department of Justices faux investigation of the scandal.
