RADICAL MUSLIMS feelings!!!~Faith [hurt feelings Muslims have when radical Muslim terrorists are described as “Islamists” on television and the Internet.] In a recent appearance on the extremist-friendly network MSNBC, Ibrahim Hooper, a representative from the Council on American-Islamic Relations, spoke about the hurt feelings Muslims have when radical Muslim terrorists are described as “Islamists” on television and the Internet. Hooper, right after going live on the air, explained to the host how he felt about the use of Islamist. “When you start using terms like that as a pejorative, I think it sends a very negative message. It sends a message that anyone involved with Islam in any way is somehow engaging in something they shouldn’t be engaging in,” he said. As if that weren’t pathetic enough, he continued his attempt to paint radical Muslims as victims because of being called radical and Islamists too often. “So, we have to examine the terminology and we have to, you know, get out of this downward spiral of hostility and mutual mistrust that these horrific incidents can lead to,” Hooper stated (H/T Breitbart). Here’s an idea worth your consideration, Hooper — how about radical Muslims, or Islamists, cease their violent acts of terror that claim the lives of thousands of “infidels” every year? How about taking a break from decapitating Westerners for money or blowing up schools full of children? That would probably be a good start. Make that happen and I’m sure you’ll be able to lobby Western governments to stop using words that hurt your feelings. CAIR is a well-known front group for the radical Islamists of the Muslim Brotherhood, yet they’ll attempt to appear to the public as a “civil rights” group — it’s a much friendlier title. They were also named as an unindicted co-conspirator in the The Holy Land Foundation trial — the largest terrorism financing trial in the history of the United States. It’s very difficult, if not impossible, for logical people to consider a request such as Hooper’s when their actions contradict their words. There is absolutely nothing peaceful about radical Islam — at least not that we’ve seen yet. Walk the walk, Hooper. Perhaps we’ll consider cutting usage of the word “Islamist” if the leaders of your religion will finally publicly condemn the out-of-control radical element within your religion — one that seems to grow larger and more deadly by the day. Until then, terms like “radical Muslims” or “Islamists” will continue to be spoken daily to help the West remain alert and not become complacent.
