What’s New The Grand Choral Synagogue of St. Petersburg was completed in 1893 and is still in use! * Over the past year, we have celebrated the Grand Choral Synagogue 120th year. The 60th and final event in St. Petersburg concluded with over 2,000 people including politicians, religious leaders, local celebrities, and community members and leaders. Since the first event, over 60,000 people have come to rejoice in the long history and continuity of the historic building. * We are extremely excited to announce the newest addition to our religious materials available in Russian – The “The Synagogue and Prayers” booklet by the ‘Yahaduton’ series. With the expansion of this series our goal is to make every mitzvah and holiday accessible to all who which to perform and celebrate them.
