What’s going on.....racism everywhere, human being humiliating other religion. As a person coming from a multi races and multi religions background, it is hard for me to be in this situation. Just to share some of my life lesson experiences. I came from a lower-medium class family, my lovely mum is a devoted Roman Catholics follower, same goes with my late father and some of my other siblings. Before I embrace Islam, I used to learn Christianity and I am one of the top students in the class. During the study, I never came across any priest, nun or any preacher teaches us to hate the other religion. We dont even talk about other religion. We just concentrate on our study. It is my Hidayah, that I choose to be a Muslim and my family especially my mum and my dad never says any bad words about my decision. What they have conveyed me is to be a devoted Muslim but never forget about family and to respect others. For their respect to me, any non-halal things/foods never enter our family house in my hometown. As for myself, I respect other religion and other races so much although sometimes some of the Hamba Allah call me Murtad or Syirik. For me, you can describe me and judge me with anything you want but you can’t tarnish my respect to others especially my own loving family
