Wheelchairs arrive in Africa A charity folk evening at Rochdale Cricket Club had raised £900, enough to send a consignment wheelchairs to Namibia via the Rotary International in Great Britain and Ireland Wheelchair Foundation. A spokesperson for Rotary said: The logistics in getting the wheelchairs over to Namibia proved challenging but following assistance from The Rotary Club of Windhoek in Namibia we are delighted to see that the wheelchairs have now arrived in Katima Mulilo and have been distributed to the children who were in need.
