Wheeler Out John Collier, President of the Board of Education for the West Platte R-II School District announced today that Dr. Jerrod Wheeler, Superintendent of the District, has taken a leave of absence from the Superintendents office. Ms. Rebecca Henshaw will be serving as acting Superintendent of the District. Teachers at the school heard the announcement during the lunch break today (Thursday, April 17), and were told that Superintendent Jerrod Wheeler had taken a leave of absence and would not be back.
