When Evan lost his first tooth last night the Tooth Fairy was super unprepared. So when he was surmising that he might get a silver dollar, Dave explained that since it was such a tiny tooth he might just get a tiny amount (while I was simultaneously freaking out and fully considering prying a silver dollar out of one of my husbands coveted proof sets.) He was super excited to put the tooth under his pillow and miracle of all miracles, Dave found a 50 cent piece in the bottom of our change jar at around midnight. This morning Evan came barreling out holding the coin and he said I thought Dad said I wouldnt get a lot, pleased as punch with his big coin. I
