When General Azubuike Ihejirika was really puting the squeeze on boko haram and they were becoming more and more isolated, it was the northern elders and prominent nothern politicians who began to cry injustice and blue murder, even threatning to take ihejirika to the haque for war crimes. They it is, that began to give an ethnic coloration to ihejirikas onslaught which prompted the president to relieve him of his command. The removal of ihejirika has given boko haram the much needed breathing space for which they cried out to their sponsors and sympathisers and has emboldened them to carry out a far higher degree of terrorist attacks on villages and informants who worked with the ihejirika onslaught against them. Northern Leaders like buhari, nyako, junaid mohammed, lawal kaita and atiku are among those who suddenly began to voice out the need for dialogue and soft approach on boko haram. They have questions to answer because the slowdowm of that onslaught has led to retaliatory attacks of a far more ferocious scale. May the blood of the innocent slaugtered be laid upon those who sponsor, manipulate and sympathise with the boko haram group.
