When God Does Not Answer The Lord said in, Psalm 77:7 -12 Will - TopicsExpress

When God Does Not Answer The Lord said in, Psalm 77:7 -12 Will the Lord reject forever? Will he never show his favor again? Has his unfailing love vanished forever? Has his promise failed for all time? Has God forgotten to be merciful? Has he in anger withheld his compassion? Selah Then I thought, To this I will appeal: the years of the right hand of the Most High. I will remember the deeds of the LORD; yes, I will remember your miracles of long ago. I will meditate on all your works and consider all your mighty deeds. When we pray for an answer, or we pray for guidance, or we pray for a miracle, God may not answer us in a way we want or expect to be answered. Sometimes we may feel God did not answer us at all. When we need an answer, guidance, or a miracle the most, the answer we get, if we are able to receive an answer, may not be the answer we think we want or we think we need. What are we supposed to do when God does not answer us like we want or need? When we don’t get an answer, we must remember God is within us. When we don’t get an answer, we must remember God is always speaking to us, guiding us, pushing us, leading us, cajoling us, filling us with His love, and pouring His compassion into our heart. When God does not answer us, we must remember God is not the one not answering us; we are the one who does not listen. When God does not answer us, we do not listen in the right way. Sometimes our answer from God is a heavenly answer full of glory so divine we have no way of seeing, understanding, hearing, or comprehending the answer. Sometimes our answer from God is an answer requiring we look beyond our present strife and turmoil to a time when time will be no more. An answer from God may require we see over the horizon to a reality where what we want and need right now is nothing compared to the glory in store for us. When God does not answer, our most important job is to move our heart into a position where we can hear Him, trust Him, and love Him no matter what He says or does not say to us…and to always be ready, willing, and able to accept His heavenly love in glory flowing down.
