When God looks at the earth, when God looks at a city, He doesnt see a city with a church in it - He sees a church with the city around it. The church is the vehicle by which Jesus speaks, acts, and moves. Everything God wants to do in this earth, He wants to do through His church. Now that we hear Him calling and awakening us, what will be our response? Will you sit another season out, or will we arise? Will you stay asleep, or will you take a stand? I believe that when God speaks, to us, He wants us to respond. God has always spoken, but we havent always listened. Not only have we not listened, we havent responded. God is still on the hunt for responders. Hes calling us, but were sending him to voicemail. Have some respect for the caller and answer the phone! Its the call youve been waiting for. Hes the repair man that wants to fix your marriage and deliver you and your kids from a disaster, so answer the call! Gods word demands the Churchs response. But how can we respond if we dont answer - how can we answer if we dont hear - and how can we hear if we have deaf ears? This parable will explain the churchs current condition if you will hear it. -next
