When God makes you a promise it doesnt always mean itll - TopicsExpress

When God makes you a promise it doesnt always mean itll immediately happen, remember things run according to HIS own timing not ours! In fact, when God spoke to Moses in the book of Exodus through the burning bush He told Moses He had heard the cry of the Israelites while suffering slavery in Egypt. God told Moses He was going to rescue the Israelites out of the hands of the Egyptians and bring them to a land with flowing milk and honey; the promised land. Moses followed and did the orders God told him to do, though at first he doubted he could. However, if you read Exodus 5:23 youll see that to Moses things seemed to have only gotten worse since the things God had told Him to do, the Israelites were given DOUBLE the labor! Thats how it happens with us sometimes, God promises us something, He promises us our own promised land but we forget that along with His promises comes His timing too and neither of us them could go according to our own. We want things to happen today, we want the seeds that were just planted yesterday to bloom today but thats not how things work. Maybe like Moses things may seem to go the opposite way, since you came to Christ and He promised you a new life things have changed in a way that doesnt seem quite right.. but God is ALWAYS FAITHFUL, He has a special purpose behind everything, a purpose our human eyes often miss but through out time itll all start making sense and though it may take some time, trials, and trouble we WILL reach our promised land because when God says something is ours it means its OURS!
