When I am asked how I forgave my betrayer: I understood that he was not in conscious contact with his soul. At this moment in time, he is believing the con of his ego and acting not out of love but out of fear. I, too, have acted out of ego and fear. Perhaps not near the magnitude as he is, but it came from the same place nonetheless. I had also spent too much time giving my power over to him. It was time to take my power back and when I did, I became free. Although, I dont condone his behavior one little bit, I am free from the dense emotional connection that bound me to him. Loving myself well meant choosing freedom and peace.
