When I as in Key West I would volunteer at the Project Lighthouse. Its a great organization and if you can, please help them out :) Project Lighthouse, our street outreach program that cares for runaway and homeless youth received grave news today. Due to government grant reductions and cuts the program will suffer a funding cut of $100,000. This program is vital to the Keys. It is the only program designed to care for runaway and homeless youth that are living on the streets of Key West and throughout the county. We need your help! We can keep the program open if we raise an additional $6,000 each month. Then, in May 2014, we will be eligible to apply for government funding once again. Will you please help keep this lifesaving program open?
