When I became a parent is, my reality really set in. I foundnd myself hugging her more holding her tighter and whispering Gods prayer in her ear every second I get. When I I was growing up street lights where my curfew or the belt was my best friend. I remember mom use to say " we living in last days and times " I never really payed it no mind. To make a long story short love youself, love your fam, kiss your kids as often as you can. Let them know who God is and he is real. We are at war with the devil, and he may have a lot of soldiers but my Gods army is undefeatable. Rip to not only Trayvon Martin, but to my brothers and sisters who dont make it home at night. To the ones who chose the wrong path, to the ones who lost the battle to a simple bullet, to the brothers who feel an orange suite and steel bars is better then freedom, to the ones who cant and wont break the generatiinal cycle, and to the ones who are dieing before there parents....Lord continue to hold my daughters hand and let her know whose side we are fighting for... ..amen.
