When I came across the Japanese term Kaizen I was extremely taken - TopicsExpress

When I came across the Japanese term Kaizen I was extremely taken with the concept. It means making the smallest possible change in the right direction. So, for instance, if you want to read more, start by reading one paragraph every day. If you want to start exercising, start by walking on the spot during the adverts on TV. Its a simple idea, but I guarantee that, if you start doing something small towards your ultimate goal, you will end up achieving that goal (and more, possibly). For example, you might find that one paragraph of a book becomes one page, becomes one chapter ... becomes the end of the book? Makes sense? Try it - and let me know what new habit you have created.
