When I came home last night Albert had gotten himself into some kind of trouble - He hurts and doesnt want his hindquarters to be touched nor to be picked up . I dont think hes broken anything because initially he jumped onto the bed and tried to rest with me but soon left and retreated up his tree to the top. There he slept through the night but still he hurts . I fear he may have tangled with another cat or a dog or worse has been bitten by a moccasin. Fearing the worst I tried to give him a little childrens Benadryl hoping in any case hell sleep and breathe a little easier as I watch and see what happens . I dont want to rush him to the vet because if its a wound or snake bite theres probably little they can really do and since hes in pain when I pick him up Im choosing to wait this out for a while to see how he feels . I slept very little and cried thinking he might slip away in his sleep . Hes my baby and I love him .
