When I came home yesterday, I powered up my PC after 5 minutes I returned to see smoke bellowing from the tower. I cut the power and opened the tower up to survey the damage. The secondary HDD connectors were melted but the contacts still look usable. The motherboard looks okay. After removing the secondary HDD I powered it back up and got a momentary burst of light from an internal LED at the back over the fan, which normally happens. Then it died. Did this several times and the same result each time. Also realised that the fan over the quad processors was caked in dust so I cleaned that off. We have ordered a new PSU. Those of you in the know..... Am I screwed or can this be fixed?
