When I consider what is happening with cultural shifts right now, and the way basic morality is eroding I believe more than ever that the church has a place and a mission. Yet it will not be the way it was always done. We will have to shift our methods. as a church leader if you are thinking that is simply not possible or your like me and some of this makes you uneasy I can give you hope on two levels. First and foremost in the midst of immoral culture Paul told the ephesian believers this truth Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us, (Ephesians 3:20 NIV) Second their are people who can help you understand the new reality. Texas Baptists as well as great people from local associations particularly the folks at union baptist have tools that can help. I have place a couple of good links here. The world is changing yet the gospel regardless of culture, generational gaps, or any other factor can change lives.
