When I first came to Melbourne in 1962 to attend 10th grade at the Florida Air Academy this was pretty much the way New Haven Avenue looked at the time. Passenger service was still available by train and the station sat to the right before you crossed the railroad tracks (not visible in this card but in the previous one that I posted). Walter will have to post a photo of the way this part of town looks today so you can see how it has evolved over the years.
