When I first learned about Ali and Battens disease was from a post one of my friends had shared. At first it was hard for me to get attached to this sweet girl being so sick because I am a Mom myself and it hurt my heart so much. I also experienced great loss losing my Dad to Cancer, seeing my Mom murdered then losing my Grandma to a stroke all close together. When I read about Donya and Sweet Ali, it was like they were kindred spirits whom understood the same strength and pain. How blessed I am that God put little Ali in my life. I never met her in life but through all her pictures and love of so many I feel like I have known her. She was a loving joy and blessing to so many and how precious God chose her to share so much love. Her legacy will live on and I will help be a part of it until I get to meet her in person one day in Heaven. We love you Ali
