When I first learned of Jamie Foxx playing Ray Charles in the movie "Ray"...I can admit that I didnt think he could do it...now I am man enough to admit I was wrong because he nailed it...IMO...now there is another moment coming up...Idris Elba...I hope that I spelled it right...is going to play Nelson Mandella in an upcoming movie....IMO....he is doin a critical role at a critical time and I hope he nails it like Jamie Foxx did Ray Charles....I think most in my generation have more than just a lil bit of background on Nelson Mandella...but our thundercat generation probably have no clue of who he is...what he did...what happened to him...etc....and since they are more inclined to watch a movie before actually reading a book about him...lets hope Idris does the part justice and the movie is more "truth" and less "Hollywood." REAL TALK!
