When I fly my goals dont change I just have to-get creative!! My days can be 12 hours of flying with no breaks, 5-6 flights in a day and sometimes people just drain you!! I still manage to workout 6 days a week and get my proper Macros in . So I have to get creative with the food I plan as well as my workouts. I experiment and most importantly I PLAN AHEAD! This is the only way one to ensure I get my correct macros and 2 to stay sane and eat properly so as to not starve myself throughout my day and end up binging later. Whether you are a flight attendant, nurse, banker or any other profession and even stay at home moms. Preparing your food ahead of time is great. My most important thing I prep and carry in my bag is my protein... Which usually is chicken, fish or turkey and I carry my carbs. I have found I prefer my veggies fresh and THATS hard to carry when flying. I can do a days worth of veggies but after that it gets pretty yucky so I have learned which airports have the best produce. And praise the lord I live in the Pacific Northwest bc both Portland and Seattle have amazing restaurants that will provide me with my picky orders no problem. I am always getting large spinach salads with oil and vinegar and lemon wedges or steamed veggies. This is great bc I can still ensure I am getting in my meals and hitting my macros without getting to much fat or high carbs. Now the great thing about living a Macro lifestyle is that I can still eat out if I choose to I just have to make sure it fits. But being prepared really saves the bank and keeps me on track!! Since I have started tracking I truly have become the most aware of what I gravitate to (carbs and fats) and where I tend to lack. This has allowed me to be more aware rather than just relying on someone to create meal plans (that usually arent custom and are given to multiple people). Now it is WORK yup and there is no short cut or easy button it just takes time to understand. However once you get on the right track it becomes a breeze. I can maintain my weight currently while eating mostly what I want in moderation and have learned a balanced intake. This means eating a cookie wont kill my goals!!
