When I get a chance to get to a computer I jump at it. And I really appreciate all the messages on my inbox showing your support. I dont want to sound like Im complaining because I do need guidance at times... so, meegwetch especially to those who are caregivers as a profession. My friend Robby who is better but still in the hospice is now losing his memory, its been really apparent especially this past week. He said he woke up at 2:30 a.m. lastnight and was talking to me and said, Well dont be too snobby, why you so quiet?. Then he looked towards where I usually sit when I visit him and I wasnt there. Aww... when he told me that I just wanted to hug him. He said, I feel your presence sometimes.... I said, Thats because youre on my mind and Im praying for you and alot of my friends are praying for you.... Then I go home at night and a tenant on the 2nd floor, Brenda, has been visiting me on the patio each night and Ive been listening to her the past 2 weeks or so... shes just turned 50, going through a divorce and dealing with an addiction. And she says, I dont know how I wouldve got through this time without you. Meanwhile, by that time of night, Im just drained and really just want to sleep, but, my thoughts are so loud at night, and the next day comes, I give thanks, and do it all over again. Like I said, Im not complaining... my head just feels like its gonna explode sometimes... yup, a cabin in the woods sounds nice about now. :)
