When I get up in the morning I check my email and Facebook, then read the New York Times on line, always looking at sports and obituaries. I felt very sad to read the obituary for Tom Maliozzi of Car Talk. I always found the Maliozzi brothers simpatico, maybe a bit silly at times, but great radio companions. Ive spent a bit of time working on cars myself, and there is this shared feeling of inductive reasoning, skepticism, seen-it-all humor.
